Since its creation 40 years ago, CANAL+ has supported culture in all the territories where it is present.

We have always considered that creation is above all a human and collective adventure. It is all our talents, driven by demand and passion, that make CANAL+ a unique group today. This difference must be identified, cultivated, and supported.

Bringing out the talents of tomorrow, providing access to culture and its professions in an inclusive and sustainable way, is the mission of the CANAL+ Foundation. Sharing know-how, emotions, liberating all talents, all voices, all perspectives.

All the programs of the CANAL+ Foundation nourish this ambition. Whether it is the Create Joy and Create Joy Pro programs that work for equal opportunities in the cultural and creative industries, CANAL+ University which offers professional training in the fields of cinema and audiovisual, Orphée, which provides cultural activities for thousands of children in orphanages or specialized schools, and Ciné·Mo, a mobile cinema that reaches out to all audiences to share the emotions of cinema, the CANAL+ Foundation works daily around the world to promote culture, so that everyone can experience it or make it their profession.
