The CANAL+ Foundation unveils its new partner organizations in 2026
Committed projects to expand access to culture, sport, and careers in film
The Board of Directors of the CANAL+ Foundation approved the projects selected through the 2026 Request of Proposals, following their review by the Steering Committee. These initiatives fully reflect the Foundation’s commitment to access to culture** and sport**, as well as to the development of vocational training in film and audiovisual professions.
Convinced that culture is a powerful driver of personal development, empowerment, and social cohesion—and that it should be accessible to everyone—the CANAL+ Foundation, through its Create Joy and Create Joy Pro programs, once again renews its support this year for local, regional, national, and European projects led by dedicated stakeholders.
Among the new partners supported in 2026, the CANAL+ Foundation is proud to work with the Fondation Action Enfance on the project Action Enfance fait son cinéma, a short film festival shot within Action Enfance villages with young residents, guided by film school students; Marianne Films for its CineMonteCristo project, rolled out in Évry and Corbeil-Essonnes (France), encouraging the writing and production of a short film; Un Artiste à l'Ecole for meetings in schools that recognized artists attended in their youth; and Académie YouNus for its program combining sport and career guidance to support young people’s professional integration.
The Foundation is also co-developing a project with Culture Relax and the French National Rugby League, aimed at sharing the emotional experience of sport with people living with complex disabilities, as part of an inclusive and accessible approach.
Supporting training in film and audiovisual professions
In the field of professional training, the CANAL+ Foundation has chosen to partner with Académie MANO in Bordeaux to support the development of its two-year vocational training program focused on film and documentary careers.
These new partners join the associations already supported by the CANAL+ Foundation in 2025, further strengthening an ecosystem committed to education, inclusion, and equal opportunities through culture, film, and sport.
